A graduate of Tufts University and the University of Tennessee College of Law, Trippe spent ten years in private practice before starting In House Legal. He has provided comprehensive legal services to businesses and entrepreneurs in a number of key industries, represented them in courts throughout the United States, and written extensively on issues of interest to business owners and managers.

Trippe is licensed to practice in all of the state courts of Tennessee, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, and the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals based in Cincinnati. Ha has also appeared or been involved in cases in South Carolina, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Arizona and Mississippi, and has worked with businesses based all over the country, including Tennessee, Maryland, Virginia, Alabama, New York and Indiana.

Representative clients have come from myriad industries including construction, transportation, health care, finance, insurance, fabrication, distribution, entertainment, publishing, professional services, IT, marketing and mass media.
